As a Graphic Design intern at Veterans United Home Loans, I had the privilege of contributing to the visual identity and communication efforts of a nationwide organization dedicated to serving veterans. My responsibilities included designing social media content and deliverables for the 27 branches of VUHL across the country, allowing me to showcase my creativity and attention to detail on a large scale. Moreover, I had the exciting opportunity to participate in Brand Storm, a competition focused on crafting the company’s significant annual Veteran’s Day campaign. To my delight, my team secured second place, and several elements of our campaign were seamlessly integrated into the company’s official launch later that year. Throughout my internship, I immersed myself in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, refining my design skills, and gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of campaign deliverables and the ordering process. This experience not only expanded my technical proficiency but also deepened my appreciation for the meaningful impact of design in amplifying brand messaging and supporting organizational goals.
